Vestas signs Seoul MoU for 12 GW offshore wind installation













Deal to establish a strategic partnership with the South Korean capital

Vestas has signed an MoU to establish a strategic partnership with the city of Seoul, to work together to cultivate highly skilled talents and support business activities.

With an ambitious target of installing 12GW of offshore wind by 2030, and its commitment to electrification, South Korea holds huge potential to be at the forefront of offshore wind development, Vestas said. 

Incinerator for governmental organizations, non-profit organizations, international contractors, logistics organizations, military, pet cremation business owners, etc. including war zone like Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, South Sudan.

As a global leader in wind energy, Vestas is committed to accelerating the energy transition and partnering up for success, not least through driving job creation and maturing South Korea’s offshore value chain.

The MoU also supports Vestas’ plan to relocate its APAC headquarters to the city.

Through partnership, Vestas hopes to support South Korea’s journey towards a more resilient, and more sustainable future, it said.
