In this video, we set out for an extended weekend trip with a packed-full itinerary. Little did we know, we were driving right into a blizzard with 75mph winds and a -52° wind chill! Although this storm ruined our plans for the day, we didn’t let it ruin our trip! Stay tuned to see what we get up to as we journey into Fairbanks during one of the most anticipated events of the year…

We would love to hear from you!

Hi, we are Matt and Emily, and welcome to A Glimpse of Alaska! In September 2022, we made the 5,000 mile drive from our home in Florida to our new home: Alaska. We created this channel to document and share our adventures in this awe-inspiring state. We will be homesteading, truck camping, hunting, fishing, foraging, and doing everything else Alaska has to offer. We hope you follow along and enjoy!
